  2. I love lemons.. When I was a young girl I would eat lemons like one would eat an apple.. The next visit to the dentist he asked me what I had been eating.. I told him mostly lemons.. He said it was taking the enamal off my teeth.. Well, that was the end of lemons for me except a slice put in my water or ice tea and my mom made the best lemonade from lemons.. My dad always had a great saying~ “If your day starts out as a lemon make it into lemonade”..He was a happy soul with a great attitude..

  8. Lucky you! That pie looks so yummy! My husband’s drooling. He wants me to make a pie now, but I don’t have any lemons! Ha ha! Publix is down the street. Let’s how badly he wants a lemon pie.~Ames

  11. I love almost everything lemon. I usually ask for something lemony for my birthday. No one else in my family likes lemon, so I rarely make anything lemony, so I always appreciate it doubly when I get a lemony treat.

  23. Oh, my goodness, that is one of the best prizes I’ve ever seen. Those lemons look huge and juicy. My boys have always loved lemon squares and I could make so many with those. Also, I’ve been known to indulge in a lemon drop martini from time to time. Yummy.

    I can almost smell the lemons right now. The pie looks scrumptious and looks like it wouldn’t have been that naughty. I am trying to lose weight right now.
