I am not a manual reader.
My husband is the ultimate manual reader. Thank goodness! He can read to me how to fix the things I have put together incorrectly.
I am not as patient as I want to be.
My son has inherited this quality from me. He wants things to come together quickly and when he wants it to be done. I think that means he isn’t going to be a manual reader either.
I am distracted at times and start things only to move to something else that has come up that seems more important.
I will find my dust rag later in the day waiting for me just where I left it before I went to take meat out of the freezer to defrost before dinner.
If JDaniel looks content playing something on his own, I will slip off to check e-mail.
He always notices and comes to find me or does something to draw me back like bang his hammer loudly on the carpet. I need to remember that.
I read “high fiber” non-fiction books to increase my knowledge and put me to sleep.
I really due learn something from biographies of presidents and deep theological books. I benefit from them, but not in ways the writer have sometimes intended for me to.
I stash candy in my top dresser drawer to eat during naptime.
My husband has just found location after almost five years of marriage. The stash is going to have to find a new spot to hide in.
What is something I don’t know about you?

Your “high-fiber” books made me laugh – I’ve done the same thing, although not intentionally! I tried valiantly to get through “Team of Rivals” (Lincoln and his cabinet) but it put me to sleep every. single. time.
I’ll keep trying! 😉

I could almost have written this! I don’t do manuals; hubbie does. I’m not patient; hubby is. I start things, only to head off in another direction at the drop of a hat! Oh, and I also have sweets (candy) in my bedside drawer…..Caught!

I love to “crazy” dance in my kitchen in my pajamas. It makes me happy, makes my little one happy, and causes my older two to cringe. I let off steam and get to laugh.
I loved getting to know you!

I had no idea you had a candy stash! 🙂

I love this post! I wouldn’t have pictured you as the candy stash type, but I really like knowing that about you!
Hmmm… You might not know that I am a magazine hoarder! I love rereading them, so we have mini-stacks all over the house. I usually don’t throw them out until they’re a year old.

I stash candy in the top drawer of my dresser, too, but my husband has never found it.

I have never thought about hiding my candy before. That’s a good trick.

My patience isn’t as good as I’d like it to be either. Hmmm, what do you not know about me? I’m terrified of fish! Not eating them, swimming with them.
Lots of yummy love,

This is a great post and so neat to get to know more about you! Great idea with the candy stash – I just can’t believe I never thought of that one!
One thing you do not know about me…. well, before I was a SAHM, I was a sign language interpreter for 16 years in corporate, medical and educational settings. Quite a switch, huh?
Thanks again! Have a great weekend!
