This is the second in a series of editable Back to School Printables. The first set was a Going to School and Coming Home checklists. This set features three editable chore charts. There is a chart for before school, a chart for after school, and a chart for before bedtime. I will share with you a list of chore suggestions but feel free to list chores that are unique to your family.
Getting the Back to School Printables
You can download Back to School Editable Chore Charts for Kids onto your computer. Then you can open them in Acrobat Reader.
Creating Your Chore Charts
Before you create your chore charts, you will need to brainstorm what you want to have on your lists. Below you will find lists of items chore charts
Before School Chore Chart
- Go to the Bathroom and Flush
- Make Your Bed
- Put Your Pajamas in the Hamper
- Brush Your Teeth
- Brush Your Hair
- Get Dressed

Typing in the Chore Checklist Items
When you have your chore checklist items selected, it is time to type them onto the back to school printables in Adobe Acrobat. You will need to type each item that needs to go onto each chore chart into the light bluish gray box beside the square bullets on the chore chart.
Once you have finished the one chore chart, you can move onto the next.
Printing Your Chore Charts
When your chore charts are completed, you can print them out on a color printer. The border and graphics on the chore charts were designed to be printed out in color.
Protecting Your Checklists
You will want to laminate or cover your checklists. You could use contact paper or name tag holder. If you have a laminator and pouchesyou could use those to cover the checklists.
