While this set is called Code and Color Olympic Medals Algorithm Pages, it includes a version of each page that it titled medals and not Olympic medals. You could have children design and colors for an event happening in your family, school, nationally or internationally.
There are pages that feature one medal and pages with three. Some pages feature specific colors and other invite children to choose the colors they will use for their medals, ribbons, and backgrounds.
The directions on each of the pages are displayed on Blockly coding blocks. That means the pages can be used to introduce children to Blockly coding before they work with them online.
Getting the Code and Color Olympic Medals Coloring Pages
First, you will need to download
Then you will need to open the set with Acrobat Reader.
Next, you will need to decide which coloring page you want your children to work on.
Once you have printed out the coloring page, you will need to gather crayons for your children to color their pages.
Exploring the Code and Color Olympic Medals Algorithm Pages
- You will want to walk your children through the algorithm steps on the left-hand side of the worksheet before they start coloring.
- Then you will need to remind them that completing an algorithm is a step-by-step process. They will need to add one element or color at a time.
- When they have decorated their medal or medals, your children can add a background. They may want to include some of the following things in their background.
- A Solid Color
- A Picture of the Event’s Location.
- Pictures that Represent the Event.
