JDaniel has misplaced the fireman that goes with his fire truck. There were three firemen that came with the truck and they can’t seem to be found anywhere. One day JDaniel decided to use some of the farm animals to drive the fire truck and fight the fires that are popping up continually in the hallway outside his room. For several days they did a wonderful job. They returned from each fire unscathed and safe.
A few weeks ago there seemed to be accidents happening right and left. The chicken fell off the ladder while trying to reach a burst of flames on the top of the hall table. The pig fell off the truck and broke a hoof. The cow had some kind of accident the filled him with pain. I’m really not sure what happened to him.
Each time the animals have an accident JDaniel requests I come out to the hallway with his ambulance and load the injured animal into it. The animal is then taken into JDaniel’s bedroom by ambulance with sirens blaring to the hospital. It really isn’t a hospital. It is more of an end table that has a shelf of the bottom. The bottom shelf is where all the doctors wait for incoming patients.

Most of the time Dr. Frog is the duty doctor and he inspects the patients with the x-ray scanner in his mouth. Dr. Frog is a very gifted linguist. He can speak to each farm animal in their native tongue. Most to the time he quickly determines that they really just need bed rest back on the farm. JDaniel many times tries to override Dr. Frog’s decision. He feels they need to stay in the hospital overnight. Thank goodness the farm animals have great health insurance. They are in and out of the hospital all the time.
Now if I could only find the firemen!

I miss those days of little ones and their world!
What a fun post! JDaniel has a very active imagination! Wonderful. He may have a future in the medical field some day! I sure hope the firemen show up soon, the animals sound like they need a long vacation! Faythe @GMT
Tell JD that I saw those firemen last night. They are very busy right now, but they will be back.
That is just so cute. What a great imagination. Hope they don’t have any really serious injuries. They are quite brave, aren’t they?

Adorable!! I especially like the xray machine in dr. frog’s mouth!
Awww…….. Poor pig getting eaten by that big huge frog.
OHHHHHHH….this was fun. I love toys and kids and imagination (you know that) thanks for sharing…and check your heat vents for firemen…
My little grandson spent the weekend with me a few weeks back. I was in complete awe of his imagination while he played. I agree with Terra, check the heat vents, I remember finding toys there all the time when my boys were little…
heehee
=D
So sweet! I love his creativity! No firefighter people, use farm animals — excellent 🙂 Einstein believed creativity was the most important component of success…your little has a bright future!
Children are so creative and inventive but it takes a good mother to encourage and support all that…one who takes the time and is imaginative herself. It sounds like you are just wonderful.
OMG, I’m dying laughing! You just dragged me back in time 13 years!
Having lived through 2 boys, I can relate to this story so well. Isn’t it GREAT having an imaginative child. This is the cutest story. I can just see the ambulance, the fire, and doctor and all the rest of the people and animals. Very clever and such fun to read. Thanks for visiting my “clock’ post. I had a lot of fun writing it…a bit therapeutic for this OCD BE ON TIME gal.
Hugs,
Genie
simply brilliant 🙂 Judith
This is adorable! My children played with many Fisher Price little people sets when they were young, and the people pieces were easily interchangeable which helped when some were lost
What a sweet story! Little boys are so precious, and such a blessing!
Little boys toys are so fun and when they have an imagination to go along with creative toys, it’s just a joy to watch. Fun memories…Save them all…those little boys grow up so fast. Thanks for visiting my C post on Computerin’…Sue
I love hearing and seeing their imaginations blossome! I hope the firemen are found alive 🙂
Hilarious!
Aaaah, very very cute! This is what makes memories!! Lovely to write it all done. Will be like a “family book”.. and how lucky that the Cow and Chicken start with a “C”!!!

Oh no! Hope the firemen are found by now!
I’m glad to see that there’s an ambulance and a doctor to take care of chicken and cow, otherwise one might be obliged to call the SPCA.
that is hilarious!
i hope you print these into a book for him later on
very cute indeed..bkm
I love this post! Before I forget, is that fire truck Fisher Price?
This is such a wonderful story. It was just like a childrens book.
Thank you for sharing this with us on Alphabe-Thursday. You started my morning with a smile! Not an easy task on a Monday!
A+
PS Still chuckling about you driving up with the ambulance, sirens blaring. What a fun Mom you are!
