1.It forced me to really clean my house.
2.I decluttered my house over the weekend so that it didn’t look so dishelved.
3.I tried the two Swanson’s chicken recipes I talked about in the Super Bowl-Swanson’s Chicken Giveaway. They were awesome!
4.JDaniel got practice in sharing his toys. He needs more practice.
5.I didn’t have to risk JDaniel falling asleep on the ride home from playgroup. We were already home.

I think we all need practice in this…but hooray for sharing! My kiddo’s gotten pretty good at that, but doesn’t want to get rid of any of her toys, even ones she doesn’t play with…ever. We’ve worked out a 2 for 1 deal (1 in, 2 out) with her, but it’ll be a long process…

I got to host play group at my house for the first time last Friday– I usually work, but I took the day off just for the occasion! It only inspired me to do a quick “surface clean”, but it was desperately needed!

Before we moved, we would host our small group Bible study every month or two. I loved how my house was ‘reset’ before hand. It would take a week or two before everything was out of place again. I am glad you enjoyed hosting play group.

LOL,number one is why I have a love/hate relationship with hosting playgroups at my home: hate to clean, but love that it NEEDS to be done!

There has been many times when we’ve tried to keep a toddler from falling asleep in the car. If they got that quick 10-20 minute nap in the car, they just wouldn’t take the longer nap at home!

I miss play groups because my oldest is in 1st grade now. We’ve escalated to playdates which require not much cleaning up since the kids destroy a room in like 2 minutes. I’m looking forward to our youngest getting to participate and the bonus adult conversations! Thanks for visiting me and now I’m commenting and not site stalking 🙂

This list made me giggle!
Most could always use an excuse for cleaning their house. I know I usually wait until the last minute when the guests are about to arrive. Haha, I’m terrible.
