What did we do?
Online Creature Creation

We went to Switcheroo Zoo and created an amazing new animal. I love this online free program that allows you to morph animals by body section. We didn’t write a story on the site, but you can create a story right on the site.
Craft

JDaniel created this monster with many eyes and a brain on top.
I’d love for you to link this up to my TGIF Linky Party http://livinglifeintentionally.blogspot.com/2011/11/tgif-linky-party-4.html I always LOVE book ideas!!

I love this feature!
I love both the tie-in crafts! The online software sounds like fun.
I am very intrigued by the book and by Switcheroo Zoo. Thanks for sharing both!
The idea of Switcheroo Zoo is a great one, and reminds me of a game we played when we were kids – animal consequences where everyone draws a head, passes it on for the next person to draw body, arms etc. you end up with some fantastic creatures/monsters.
What a fun book and craft. We made something like this from pictures of animals from magazines that the kids pasted to make new animals. They then had to write about their animal. We did it at our homeschool co-op.
Love the creations JDaniel made!
I love what JDaniel made and very cool storybook! What a good message in it too!
I like JDaniel’s cool creation and I’ll be trying out that program with my kids. 🙂
I keep forgetting to link in with this. We have been doing book creations for a few weeks. So glad you have this meme up.
And I love JDaniel’s creation. Audrey has come up with some interesting creations like that recently.

Glad that you enjoyed my painting, “Beach Baby,” that I created for all of us mom’s who cherish the memories of our toddlers at the beach.

Such a great idea for a meme. I’ll have to see if I can participate in the future. That book sounds like a riot. Sounds similar to The Mixed up Chameleon by Eric Carle.
Love the monster!
