Today the Muffin Tin Monday Theme is Back to School/Learning. JDaniel had a counting tin for lunch. He had one strip of chicken, two pieces of cheese, three yellow pepper strips (He didn’t like them raw. He loved them cooked.), four grape tomatoes, five orange slices, and mixed veggies with six green beans. This meal didn’t fill him up. JDaniel requested two crackers and more oranges. Maybe I should have done three strips of chicken and one yellow pepper strip.

Stopping by from SITS. I haven’t done the muffin tins since my oldest was young…maybe if I try that at dinner my daughter would eat something,, anything….hmmm, something to ponder!

Such a fun and exciting way to learn. I like this idea. I use things like this with my kids too. They respond really well.
Thanks for visiting with me. I do appreciate it.

I fill up my tins to bursting because I have a teen, 8yr old, and almost 3yr old. lol… I always see these really neat, half filled, beautifully themed tins and wonder how mamas can get away with it. Although my tins are not as pretty as yours. 😉

That’s a great idea. My Julia is not in preschool this semester and that would be a great way to work in math and possibly better eating.
