JDaniel loved his star themed lunch. He sang Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star when I sat his tin down on the table. The tin had watermelon stars, Colby cheese stars with a turkey burger underneath them, yogurt, honey wheat bread stars, cherry tomotoes, and apple stars.
The cherry tomatoes were supposed to represent poppies that are used to remember Memorial Day. The stars are to remember all the stars of the military that serve our country near and far. The yogurt has no meaning. JDaniel just likes it.

great theme – love the stars!
Oh my stars, what a cute tin π
Great tin!
Very cute tin. I can’t believe I didn’t think of doing a Memorial Day tin! I mean, come on, I’m a military wife!!! π We just used what we had on hand this week.
Great tin, love that you thought about the poppies! A perfect tin for Memorial Day π
Very nice! π I love that JDaniel was singing “Twinkle Twinkle”, that is so sweet! π
Very nice tin with wonderful meaning. And how cute is that that he sang Twinkle, Twinkle. Too cute!

Excellent!! I vote for you to make my lunches from now on, lol!
I should have thought of stars.
Yogurt is the quintessential American toddler snack! ;o) So it works that way! I love the stars too, we ended up with bears because I didn’t make the Memorial Day connection until after I started making lunches.
Great tin!! Really niece for today.
Have a great week.
