When you let your two year old pick out the tin for his lunch, he may pick out a Christmas tin in August. The Santas, snowman, and gingerbread men are covered with food, but I bet you can still see their outlines.
We tried a new breakfast casserole this week with leeks, blueberries, and turkey sausage. It was good. It needed something, but I can’t figure out what. JDaniel also had blueberry muffins he helped make and grapes. He loved it all.
We will continue our breakfast for lunch next week. I can’t decide if it will be french toast or pancakes.

Cute! Grace always picks things in the wrong season, too. I guess it’s whatever they like. π

I thought of your Muffin Tin Monday’s yesterday! I was at the beach and brought one of my silicon tins so that I could use it for a picnic! π

What a cute tin! Love the breakfast casserole. Although, I have never had leeks, so maybe I wouldn’t love it.

I love the Christmas tin. I’m gonna have to check out ebay. My daughter is already singing Jingle Bells. Too funny.

Yum. That breakfast for lunch thing is an excellent idea. We’ve done ‘backwards days’ where we have dinner first thing (starting, of course, with dessert) and breakfast last. But this is a fun twist that we may try over Xmas break.
