JDaniel isn’t old enough to sit through a movie. I decided to make him a lunch based on his favorite television show. Curious George has been a favorite for a long time.
He had a toasted cheese monkey sandwich, a yellow hat made from a banana, banana yogurt (just because we had it), Curious George fruit chews, along with C and G made with cookie cutters from apple slices.

This is so cute! I love the monkey face – Georgia would flip for something like this.
We haven’t seen the movie (although I have it on my swap.com want list and keep hoping a copy will show up that i can trade for) but Pierce just loves the books. In particular, Curious George goes Hiking is one of his top favorite stories every. Highly recommend it!
That monkey face made me laugh. It just has so much character!
this is the best idea, what a neat way to keep them entertained
This is so cute and creative!
Adorable! Pumpkin love Curious George too!
Adorable! I also love the monkey face. Wondering what you used to created it. Very creative.
I have let Tabitha watch a couple of episodes of the show, but that was a while ago. Love the books though.
The Curious George movie is totally adorable too! Cute MTM! ๐
Cute idea as well. I love seeing everyone’s ideas.
Very cute & creative!
that “big yellow hat” is awesome.
Wow- I’m impressed! My little guy would LOVE that!
That is one creative, nutritious lunch. All of my children just loved Curious George books.
On another note, I still can’t figure out how to make your blog button a bit narrower so it will fit on my sidebar. Usually the code has a width and length in it, but your’s doesn’t. Am I just missing something?
wowza, this is exactly why I don’t let my kids read blogs. They just might get some idea in their head that I had the talent to do such things! Looks great! ๐
Your Curious George tin is adorable! My kids just love that show. I am totally stealing that idea! Wink! :~)
hehe, love the monkey!
Awesome tin! I love your Curious George sandwich. So cute! ๐
How do you do this girl? I don’t think I could be as clever as you are with your themes! Your little guy has a good mama!
Very Cool!
