We shredded paper and then received a bunch of wiggly, giggly worms.
JDaniel loves to feed them and check to make sure the box is moist enough for them. He even talks to them to make sure they are okay.
In honor of JDaniel’s new pets, we have a muffin tin that celebrates worms. JDaniel had worms made of whole-grain waffles to dip in tomato sauce. Worms like debris from plants so, cheese flowers and their scraps were included. A segmented mandarin orange worm and two candy worms finish out the tin.

Got a lot of requests for Linkedn? I don’t use it.
Wow, very impressed with JDaniel’s pet collection. Does he know they’ll be set free one day?

I love it. What a great tin and new pets. I remember our meal worms turned beetles project last year for homeschool science. It was very fun for the kids.
Soooo cute. And I kinda love that he talks to them.
What a great way to teach him!! “Wormy tin”!! So cute 🙂 I’m not sure I could eat anything while thinking about worms:)
Morris would like this, Bean even…could not get that child out of the dirt yesterday lol.
That is the sweetest idea! I love that you made a tin based on what is going on in his life right now. 🙂

The wormy lunch is so cute! Nice job with the mandarin oranges. What is it about little boys and drills? That photo made me smile- my boys love tools too!

Adorable! Love the mandarin orange worm the best. Very creative, glad he liked it.
Cool worms. We did tadpoles last year and caterpillars. I wouldn’t know how to take care of worms. Though I think the girls would enjoy it.
I really love the muffin tin.
Waffles dipped in tomato sauce?? Not so sure about that one. Brad’s class has a bin of worms too! 🙂 He will love watching them!
