There is nothing better on a Sunday afternoon in South Carolina then to go to your town’s Touch a Truck event. You can wander up and down the closed off main street, climb, explore, and take in the amazing attributes that the various pieces of equipment possess.
Driving a mini front loader fills a preschooler with unexplainable joy.
Discussing the road grader with your dad creates a bonding memory.
Getting to experience shifting gears and checking out each button is heaven.
Boys both young and slightly aging love to take it all in.
Some of the slightly aging boys may need time to explore on their own.
It seems exploring and playing on construction equipment is something boys never outgrow.

I can’t imagine anything cooler for a boy than that. And actually my little girl loved climbing up in a firetruck and putting on the fireman’s helmet so I guess that goes for girls, too!

Boys and their toys! I must say I have really come to appreciate my nephew’s backhoe as a miracle machine!

He he, boys will always be boys (I love the last pic, my Hubs would do the same 😉 ). And my tot would be in heaven, he would ask to spend the night there.
That looks like a ton of fun! I know that E would LOVE to go to something like that! She’s totally into vehicles and trucks right now (which must sound strange since she’s a girl) which is why we’re going to a bus festival this weekend 🙂

Construction trucks truly are a way into a boys (of any age) heart. We had our front yard completely re-done and they left a samll loader in our driveway overnight. You would have thought it was Christmas morning with how excited my boys got. They sat in that thing for what felt like HOURS!

Trucks are so cool! We have Caterpillar and Case New Holland plants in the city I live in southeastern Brazil, I love going past their yard! I myself would love to touch one someday! what a great event!

A Touch a Truck event is so cool! I wish there was one in Malaysia. Both my hubby and son would love it too. In fact, Mommy wouldn’t mind it too!

There’s actually an ‘amusement’ park in Las Vegas now consisting of driving heavy equipment.
I think it’s like 400 bucks to drive the big stuff.
I bet you had a hard time dragging your son off that equipment to go home…and perhaps your husband, too!
