JDaniel loves spinach. It is one of his favorite vegetables, but I discovered that he doesn’t like this spinach dip. He ate almost everything else. He loved the mini crackers! He ate a few cucumber shaped trees, and the tomatoes though.
Bento Making Tip: A cookie cutter placed in the Bento box is a great area to hold a thick dip and it can help illustrate the theme of a snack or lunch time meal.

If he is sneaking veggies as a sack I would not complain!! Nothing wrong with that!! I used to “sneak” into my grandparents veggie garden and snack on raw green beans all the time!!! Better that then candy!!

Look at that Christmas tree mold. WHat a great idea to try to get a dip for kids to eat their vegetables. I look “sneaky” ways to get vegis in! They are so important to our little ones growth!

That is too cute! I love the dip but I think maybe my daughter would like ranch instead. She loves veggies and crackers and I’m sure she’d have fun with this.

What a great idea. I too love trying to sneak veggies in where ever/whenever I can and sometimes I’m very successful, sometimes I am not but try and try again, right? And cheese on top always helps. Thanks for sharing!!!

Love the cucumber trees and your cookie cutter idea to hold dips…shall try that for my girls! I keep trying to get them to eat tomatoes and cucumber by helping pick them in the garden but no luck yet..glad your little one tries them at least!

I love your Christmas tree snack bento! I didn’t realize the tree in the bottom section was a cookie cutter; I thought it was a silicone cup…until I got to the end of your post and read the last sentence. 😛 That’s a great tip!! 🙂
