Just before Valentine’s Day we set out to make Valentine’s Day sugar cookies. We didn’t know who we would give them to we just pulled out a box of cookie mix and made them.
Once he was sure it was cut out, he pulled the extra dough away from the cookie and placed it to the side. I think he would make a wonderful pastry chef someone day. Until then I think he is going to want to have a lot of practice sessions with his own personalized rolling pin.
Disclaimer: JDaniel and I were sent our personalized rolling pins by Red Envelope in exchange for this review. I had a hard time deciding what gift to select. The Red Envelope has many wonderful gift to choose from for men, women, and future pastry chefs.

We love to bake, too. We have gone from pouring flour on our heads and eating it, to rolling, cutting and decorating. So much fun.

Every child loves baking (and dough eating), I think. I wish we did it more often, but I am not much of a baker.
