The dessert is made of two layers of kid’s favorites. There was box of vanilla pudding made according to the directions on the box. Orange jello was also made according to the directions on the box and canned peaches were added to the jello.
It took a little while for the pudding and jello to set. The jello took the longest. With JDaniel in school the wait flew by. Had he been home he would have wanted to keep putting his fingers in to them to see if they were ready. As you can see there wasn’t a finger test done on these.
When the jello and pudding were ready, I placed them one layer at a time into a pretty bowl. Between the layer of jello with peaches and the pudding layer I added a few more peaches. I thought it would add a little more texture to the dessert.

I love the idea of a special dessert for Halloween, and that’s other than gobs of candy! My daughter usually wants something she can’t have at school when she gets home. She can’t eat any peanut butter at school, as is the case for many schools, so she generally wants peanut butter and apples or peanut butter and crackers.

What a great idea for a Halloween dessert.. Ben is so hungry when he gets home that he usually eats crackers and cheese..and juice.. We usually eat as near 5 that we can.. he gets really grouchy when he’s hungry..

what a cute snack idea 🙂
broxton has decided that jello is more fun to play than eat, so we have eliminated it for the time being
