You will need to explain to your children that each type of donut represents a number. Their goal is to figure out what number each of the donuts represents. Then they will need to find the answers for each of the number sentences.

Exploring the Brain Teasers
Your children will need to use the number shared at the top of each brain teaser box to figure out what the two other donut numbers are.
First, they will need to find out what number the doughnut in the second row represents. It will help your children decode the number represented by the third donut.
Next, your children will find the answers to each of the math problems.
