This week 3 Dinosaurs and I are sharing farm themed printables. Most of the printables you will get from me are STEM-related. Yesterday I shared a printable that walked kids through how to make balance scale. There was also a recording printable where kids could record how much two plastic chickens weighed in corn. Today’s activity invites children is a set of farm jokes coding breaker game worksheets. Your children will have fun finding the answers to the jokes on each of the worksheets.

Before your children explore the code breaker game sheets, you may want to have them explore some children books about codes.Spy Science: 40 Secret-Sleuthing, Code-Cracking, Spy-Catching Activities for Kids and Henry and Mudge and the Sneaky Crackers both are great books to share.
Getting Ready for the Code Breaker Game
You will need to download the Let’s Code Break Farm Jokes Worksheets. You will need to print out the code breaking chart and the code breaking puzzle activity page you want your children to work on.
The answer keys are available for each of the code breaker game pages. You can share them with your children so they can check their work.
Exploring the Code Breaker Game
You will notice that there are several pictures of the same type of animal on the joke worksheets. Please remind your children to look carefully match the animal they are looking for to the letter beneath it on the code breaking chart.
Children could work on this activity on their own, with a friend or in a small group.
