You may have seen the periodic table bulletin board set I created for Black History Month. It inspired me to create a totally editable set of periodic table templates. You will be able to type in the element initials, full element name along with the birth and death dates. There are so many ways that you can use these templates. Below you will see a list on ways I can up with. You will probably be able to come up with dozens of other display ideas.

Using the Periodic Table Template
First, you will need to download the Editable Periodic Table of Elements Templates for Bulletin Boards.
Next, you will need to open the PPF with Acrobat Reader.
Then you will need to fill in each of the following element sections:
- The initials for each element will need to be placed in the editable box under each number.
- The full name of the person or activity will need to be placed in the text box under the initials.
- The birth and death date can be placed in the text box under the full name. If there isn’t a beginning and end date, you can leave this text box empty.
You will need to decide if you want to use the color key found at the beginning of the set. If you do want to use it, you can fill in the text boxes found after each of the equal signs.
Finally, you will need to print out each of the period table pages. You can print them out on paper that matches the key found in the front of the set or just white paper if you prefer.
