The amazing PTA at my school gave us fun little gifts in our mailboxes during the week we celebrated Teacher Appreciation. Each gift had a small sticker attached to it with a pun that includes the name of the gift in it. I thought it would be fun to make gift tags that featured the Teacher Appreciation Week ideas.
Each day our children could take the small gift with its fun tag to school to give to their teacher. I toyed with trying to make these stickers and decided against it. It might have been too hard to find stickers that were just the size I had been planning to use.
Teacher Appreciation Week Ideas- Printable
The gift tags I did make can be printed out on card stock or heavy paper. A hole can be punched in one corner of the tag. A piece of yarn or pretty ribbon can be thread through the hole so it can be attached to the gift or a gift bag containing the small teacher appreciation gift. If you like the idea of the tag being taped to your gift, you could attach the tag to the teacher appreciation gift with washi tape or a sticker.
Oh! I included a gift that is not food related. I thought you might want to send something other than food to school.
Other Thoughts for These Teacher Appreciation Week Ideas
- If you think the tags are too large for your gift, you can always print them out at 75% or even 50% by selecting scaling on page print out properties page.
- If you don’t want to send in fresh fruit, you could always send in something that has bananas or pears in it. It would be a baked good, a scented soap, or even a candle.
