There is just something wonderful about hands on learning. It seems to engage muscle, visual and auditory memory. This week I am going to share with you four amazing ideas shared on last week’s The Sunday Showcase that work with all types three memories. They each feature kids learning activities that are hands on, will get kids talking, and give them a visual understanding on their themes.
After exploring each of them, I hope that you will add a link to the link up below. While I am putting together next week’s The Sunday Showcase, I will then be able to look at your kids learning activities. The activities I share next week will come from this week’s link up. It would be such fun to share one of your links.
Here are four awesome kids learning activities:
Deceptively Educational show us how to make a DIY Water Fountain.
This would be perfect for a hot summer day!
The House of Burke’s Personalized Mr. Potato Head Felt Board is super cute.
It would be fun to create one for each family member. You could mix up the noses, eyes, and mouths.
Lalymom’s Outdoor Writing Center and Activities post is filled with great ways to use a chalkboard.
I had a great time reading through them. Taking your foam letters outside to use on your chalkboard this summer is one idea.
Life with Moore Babies has created a really fun activity featuring shape buttons.
It is a perfect example of a kids activity that uses all the areas of memory I talked about at the beginning of this post.
