Muffin Tin Monday- Christmas Breakfast
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! This is probably the first Christmas JDaniel will remember and was totally aware of. It was so much fun.
The night before Christmas we did some prep work for the arrival of Jesus’ birthday and Santa’s arrival. Baby Jesus arrived in the crèche after having his manger bed empty for most of the month of December. We also put a NewTree chocolate bar out for Santa. Santa gets so many cookies we decided to leave him a treat that he won’t get anywhere else.
Christmas morning JDaniel’s first words were to ask if Santa had come. He was so happy to hear that Santa had come and brought presents. When we came downstairs to see what Santa had brought, we found presents along with a partially eaten candy bar. It was decided that candy bar needed to be part of JDaniel’s Christmas breakfast tin.
Along with the remains of Santa’s chocolate JDaniel had a fruit salad, yogurt with Christmas sprinkles, syrup, and pancakes with sprinkles. The sprinkles didn’t remain visible in the pancakes once they were cooked. They looked pretty sitting in the muffin mix.

I love that you left chocolate for him. I bet he does get tired of cookies. He ate all the ones we had and then had a tummy ache. Visiting from Blog Frog Mom loop

Mmm. Santa showed a lot of restraint only eating part of a New Tree candy bar 😉

I love the tree muffin tin! It is so cute and it looks large enough to make a good sized muffin or cupcake. The green color was just a bonus.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Loved your muffin tin for Christmas. Wish I had stumbled on the idea when mine were little. They’d just think I was nuts now.

How cute! We left chocolates for Santa, too. 🙂
I always make a breakfast casserole for Christmas morning- something I can make the night before and pop in the oven while everyone is opening presents.

What a perfect breakfast! And, it is so exciting when they get old enough to remember the season. My 10 year old, came in our room at 3 a.m. and said, “Santas been here.” I promptly ordered him to bed. Then his brother came in at 5 a.m. and said, “Santas been here.” And I ordered him to bed. But at 7 a.m., he came again and we ALL got up! 7 a.m. feels earlier each year! LOL Needless to say, those sugar plums dancing in my head did not get much of a chance to float around!

He is at a great age! It just keeps getting better and better the older they get. I am not sure how much longer I have with Brad but he truly believes right now 🙂

What a fun breakfast! My daughter would have dipped it all into her yogurt too. And sopped up every. single. last. molecule. of her syrup. But I usually don’t have the energy… I mean TIME to make pancakes! How fun!
