My Book Tie-Ins of the Week:
A Wish to be a Christmas Tree is a wonderful book about a tree that finds out he has a purpose all year long. What fun it is to be so helpful to others all during the year and not just look pretty at Christmas time.

This is really cool. I am from South Carolina too but am in Wisconsin now. I love the handprints for thank you cards, but my kids are teens and beyond now. I’ll past it on for my grandkids though. Blessings, Amy

Great ideas!! On Christmas present Bella got was a cookbook/scrapbook. We will cook together, making simple recipes she can actually help with and there are spots to attach your cooking photos!! I love to cook and she loves to help, so we’re both really excited about doing this together!!!

What a great idea to make the thank you cards from wrapping paper! Love it! We have used old cards to make ornaments the following year. I like the whole idea of reusing stuff. Happy New Years!
