When I tried to take a picture of the steps we took to make the fortune cookies, the glare of the foil was terrible. I quickly grabbed some snowman liners to show you what we did.

It was really fun to see him search through all his things to find the ones he did find. Each time he came across one it was like he was finding a hidden treasure.

JDaniel helped me brush the roll segments with a mixture of milk and green food coloring after they came out of the oven.

What great ideas you have! My kids are 1/4 Chinese and we never do anything like this. I am going to do the Fortune Cookie idea with them. They will love it! The Tangram snake is great too! Love the math angle!

Hi! You are truly an inspiration! I planned to make your fabulous sound shakers for New year, but did not have enough bottles for the whole class . Now, I will get them done for the Chinese New year. I will also use your idea of making a dragon with the shape blocks as part of our new math rotations. I am so tired of my old ideas and really appreciate yours! Judy
