With school now in session my son and I headed to our local Walmart to stock up on Tyson® chicken we can use to make quick dinners. We both are in school! He has started second grade and I teach in the computer lab. With full days at school, homework sessions and sports some nights I just need quick yet healthy meals to put on the table. Let me share with you the chicken nugget dinner ideas we came up with and a few things about the Tyson® A+ Project. (You will love the project as much as their chicken!)
One of my go-to main dish ingredients is chicken. My husband and son both really like it. (I like it too.) During our trip to Walmart, we grabbed bags of Tyson® Crispy Strips, Tyson® Fun Nuggets, and Tyson® Nuggets. I knew we could use them to in casseroles, tossed into salad, and as a main dish on their own. We just have to heat them up and they would be ready to go.
On busy nights we need things that have very little cooking time. There is only so much time to cook and eat a meal before it is time to start winding down for bedtime some nights. All of the Tyson® products are easy enough to prepare that my son can help me get dinner ready. That cuts down on prep time and gives my son a way to help with the meal.
After checking out at Walmart, we headed home to create list of chicken nugget recipe ideas we could create with them. We will be having chicken a lot on busy nights and I wanted a go to list of ways to serve it.
The Tyson® chicken we purchased has 100% natural ingredients and will be simple to prepare. After looking at our list of main dish ideas we will be starting with the Tyson® Fun Nuggets! (I just love that they are all white meat. My son likes that they are dinosaurs.)
Beyond loving the fact that the Tyson® products will be great for my family, I love that they have started the Tyson® Project A+ to help schools. The project has two wonderful ways of helping schools. The first is to donate 24 cents for each label on any of their amazing products sent in to your school. The second way they are helping schools is giving you a way to share a need your school has. The school with the most nominations for their request will get a $1,000 worth of Project A+ labels. There are always things schools have on their wish lists. These are two great ways that they can get them.
Let me know which of the chicken nugget recipe ideas you think you would like to try! Remember if you make it with Tyson® products you will have a label you can send in to school for the Tyson® Project A+.
What is your favorite way to serve chicken nuggets? Do your kids have favorite dip?
