There are so many wonderful children books about Bears. You have been given activities that explore the books Bear Give Thanks, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, and Paddington in the past. Today’s color games for kids activities were created to go along with the Virtual Book Club book of the week Time for Sleep. You, of course, can play with your children after reading the book or anytime you like.
Color Games for Kids
While the Color Bear Bingo printable can be used to play bingo with our kids are several other color games for kids I think you can play with it. If you would prefer that your children color the bears then, here is a printable Bear Bingo With Bears Kids Can Color worksheet.
Basic Bingo
You cut out the color bears that appear on a page without the word bingo at the top. Then have your children pick out a bingo card they would like to use. You will hold up one color bear at a time and tell your children what color it is. Next, your children will cover that color of a bear on their card. When they have covered a row or column on their card they can call out “Bingo”.
Match the Bear Square to the Bear on the Card
In the bingo set, you will find a page that features just the color bears. You can have your children match each of the colors bears to its matching bear of the bingo card. If you like you can have the say “Bingo” when they have covered their card.
Concentration Bingo
You will turn all the color bear cards face down and select one bingo card to work with. Then you will have your children turn one card over at a time. If they can tell you what the color is, they can place that color bear card on its match on their bingo card.
