Four sets of Halloween activity pages are a part of this series to explore number matching and number recognition. Each of the sets invites children to look for or connect with numbers differently. Your children will have fun working with each of these sets.
Halloween Activity Pages for Kids
Halloween Pumpkin Number Match Muffin Tin Activity
This set invites children to place a numbered circle or some objects in each circle that match the pumpkin number displayed on each pumpkin circle. The pumpkin circles are placed in a muffin tin to keep the objects added to each muffin cup in place. The number circles stay in place in the muffin tin too.
While the numbers are displayed in order in our graphics, you can place them in any order you want. It will be up to you to decide how you want your children to explore the numbers.
Halloween Roll and Cover Math File Folder Games
The file folder game pages feature spiders, pumpkins, and creepy creatures. Each style of page comes with boards that feature the numbers 1-10 or 1-20. It will be up to you to decide which pages you want to have your children explore.
You can place the roll and cover boards in a file folder or use them on their own. If you want to use them over and over again you may want to laminate them.
Coloring Halloween Candy Numbers with an Algorithm
Coloring Halloween Candy Numbers is fun when you follow an algorithm or series of steps. The steps on this coloring page are displayed on Blockly coding blocks. There are two versions of this page. First, there is a page with assigned colors. The second page invites children to choose the colors of each number.
Many of the online coding courses for children young and old feature Blockly blocks. This is a fun way to introduce them to your children.
Halloween Creature Coding Algorithm Algorithm Boards
This set of Halloween coding boards features Halloween-themed creatures. There are half-sheet and full-sheet counting boards. The set also features color and B/W versions of each board.
An algorithm is a series of steps needed to complete a task. Your children’s task is to connect the numbers on each board to get to the word end. They will need to think through where they need to go before they place an arrow in the correct direction to connect the numbers.
