Children will explore number sequencing and skip counting when the put these Little Red Hen number puzzles together. There are B/W and color versions of each of the puzzles. The Little Red Hen number puzzles focus on counting to ten and skip counting.
The puzzles focus on the following:
- Counting 1 to 10
- Counting back from 10 to 1.
- Going from 10 to 100 by tens.
- Skip Counting by 5’s
- Skip Counting by 2’s

Making the Puzzles Reusable

Deciding on the Little Red Hen Number Puzzles to Use
The color versions of the puzzles are ready to use right after printing and laminating them. The black-and-white version will need to be colored. They could be colored by you or your children. Because the coloring isn’t done by the printer, they will be less expensive to print.
The reason there are two color versions is that some children don’t like detailed pictures. They prefer them to be less cluttered. Realizing that would be a need for some children I included a simple and more detailed puzzle.
